Programme Goals
- To develop an understanding of the various historical forms of discrimination in global sport such as race and ethnicity, gender equality, governance, inequalities, ableism and inclusion.
- To provide knowledge for global practitioner鈥檚 sport to effect change in keeping with the United Nation鈥檚 Global Sustainable Development Goals [SDGs] especially as it relates to Gender Equality, Health and Well-Being, Reducing Inequalities, Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, and Climate Action.
- To equip students with the analytical tools to conduct intersectional analyses of discrimination in sport.
- To provide strategies and methodologies to implement reparative justice measures through policies, and Programmemes.
